Hello! Welcome to the home of Tenbury Wells Box Office.
Tenbury Wells is an unspoilt old-fashioned small market town with a tradition of quality home-grown entertainment including:
- musical theatre provided by Tenbury Amateur Operatic Society
- drama and pantomime from Tenbury Amateur Dramatic Society
- Tenbury-Countryside-Show provided by Tenbury Agricultural Society
- two town bands: Tenbury Townband and Tenbury Teme Valley Band both of which can support your activities with some really good quality music. More info on the Community Information sheets which can be downloaded from "About us & Links to Tenbury activity organisers"
- flower demonstrations organised by Tenbury Floral Arts Club
- choirs: several attached to local churches but also St Michaels Singers who have earned a reputation for putting on some extremely high quality shows
- a myriad of fundraising activities providing good food and good company
- Town wide events which help to put Tenbury on the map: Food Fair in May, Applefest in October, Mistletoe (for which Tenbury has a world-wide reputation) Fair in December, St George's Day parade, switching on the Christmas lights with Father Christmas parade, etc are mostly provided by Tenbury Events.
- U3A activities and events for older people wanting to share a common interest including bridge, archaeology, photography, discussions, genealogy, art, dancing, singing, etc.
Events which overlap professional and amateur:
- The Regal Cinema, owned and run by the Town Council, which features the current box-office hits as well as old-time greats but is run entirely by volunteers so ticket prices are just £4 or £3 for concessions. (This can provide a wonderful opportunity for a cheap children's party activity). Mostly open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Check out the link for current showings.
- The Floor : a musical extravaganza which takes place on the 2nd Friday of every month at St Michaels' Village Hall and enables local people from school age upwards to perform alongside an eclectic mix of professional performers.
- St Michael's church with its wonderful Father Willis organ attracts choirs and organists from across the UK. Check out Music at St Michaels for the current programme.
- The Tenbury Mistletoe Festival runs over several weeks from November to January with parade, shows and events to celebrate Tenbury's International Mistletoe sales.
In addition we have some exceptional reasonably priced, totally professional shows visiting Tenbury:
- Shindig performances bringing subsidised international professional shows sold at competitive prices
- professional promoters showcasing their clients in advance of the Edinburgh Festival: Chuckle Nights
- visiting bootleg pop groups (famously the real Beatles performed in a local pub just as they reached the top of the charts in 1963).

We are also collating the contact information of all CLUBS AND ORGANISATIONS in the Teme Valley. You'll find suitable forms on the 'contact us' page. Contact details are contained in COMMUNITY INFORMATION attached at "About us and Links to Tenbury Activity Organisers".
The office is being run on a voluntary basis in the initial stages but as there are no ticket sales to be done at the moment there is a table allocated for societies to use to sell their own tickets.
